3 Thoughts with Our Newest VP, Stuart Sim
Chime continues to grow as we add to our team across all levels and departments. Our latest executive hire includes Stuart Sim as Vice President of Industry Development. With leadership roles at Realtor.com and ModernAgent, Stuart brings a ton of real estate technology industry experience to the organization. We sat down with him to ask what specific trends he’s seeing in the market right now and what led him to Chime. Read on for more.
What makes real estate technology so relevant right now?
It’s a great time to be a part of this industry. The real estate market as a whole is undergoing a massive change. iBuyers make up a small, but highly disruptive sector of the industry. The very economics of how deals are structured and agents are compensated is evolving rapidly. These fundamental shifts are forcing traditional brokerages and real estate pros at every level to consider how they are truly differentiating themselves and capturing business. Technology provides the capabilities and resources they need to innovate and compete.
How does Chime support that demand?
Chime has long been seen as an innovator in the marketplace, providing the technology advancements needed to close business and grow business. So many of the innovations offered today stemmed from real customer and prospect requests. Unlike many of the other solutions out there, that feedback loop is core to how the company operates and Chime has never stopped innovating. We have a team of developers that are committed to building the platform functionality that our customers really need, right now. The breadth and depth of the Chime offering is impressive and in the months to come we’ll be able to share more innovations with the market – all with the goal of helping clients leverage technology to drive business growth.
What are your plans for Chime?
As the VP of Industry Development, my mission is to help grow Chime’s relationships and partners across all areas of the industry. The more we can understand and relate to the industry challenges the more we can align ourselves to help solve the issues and provide the capabilities needed for our customers to navigate an incredibly dynamic marketplace.
